Good Shoe Bought this item off a recommendation from a long time runner. I just recently started running and was looking for a good running shoe. The shoe met expectations, the first time I ran in them the zero drop from heal to toe made the run feel different, not necessarily better, and not worse. Not for me 4/5. I have worn many Altra shoes, escalate 1.5, solstice, superior 2.0, 3.0,3.5 and Kayenta most of which I love. Going from running in an escalate and kayenta the last year and 3 months respectively, my foot just isn’t feeling the Torin 4.0 right out of the box. I don’t know if it’s the way the shoe holds the foot mixed with the stiffness but it just makes my feet hurt when I’m done running and I’m having all the same pains I got when I switched over to altra about 5 years ago. Love the extra room in the toebox Nice shoe. Been wearing Nike Frees for the past few years and loved them but got turned onto this brand for the zero drop and to give my toes more room. My outside two toes are always rubbing against the shoe and with this pair there’s no issue.
